Last week room 15 did the cycle challenge and won the competion even though our house leader Billy fell over and got us 15 points. The challenge was to get the least amount of points when going through the course. WELL DONE ROOM 15.

They have just found out that both of them made it in as well.
Now they have to go Christchurch for a week in the school holidays to train with all the other boys who also made it in. They are being taught by four of the best coaches in the South Island and some X all white players.

Room 15 and Mr O'Connell
Helping our kind caretaker Mr O'Connell!
Today the Room 15 Year 8 boys helped get rid of a big table out the back of our class that Mr Hepburn didn't want. First we had to take of the ply wood that was on the top and bottom and then take apart the main body. After that was done we carried it to Mr O'Connell's shed, then we were done!

These two boys are star soccer players and have been chosen to trial for N.T.C (National Talent Centre). So far these boys are at F.T.C (Federation Talent Centre) which is a Nelson based soccer group that goes to Christchurch twice a year, and plays with Marlborough F.T.C, Christchurch F.T.C and West Coast F.T.C. They play with and against these teams over two days.
N.T.C trials are on the 17th of March in Timaru where they have to bring there A game to get into this. We wish you luck P.j and Alec.
